Ragi Koozh (ராகி கூழ்) is a traditional Tamil porridge made from finger millet flour. It's especially popular in Tamil Nadu during hot seasons and Aadi month as a cooling, probiotic-rich food.
Ingredients
5 cup of hot water
Mix 0.5 - 1 cup of ragi flour with 2 cups of water, keep aside
0.5 cup rice, prewashed , (use pachaarisi, easy to cook)
0.5 - 1 cup curd / yoghurt, optional
1 tsp ginger chopped
2-3 shallots, chopped finely
1 green chili without seeds, chopped
1 sprig curry leaves, chopped
1 stalk of coriander leaves, chopped
salt as required
