Communion in Mission | Archdiocesan Pastoral Plan 2025–2035

Описание: The Archdiocesan Pastoral Plan 2025–2035 is the fruit of a 4-year synodal journey that began with the Catholic200SG Collective Discernment Exercise in 2021 and culminated at the Archdiocesan Assembly in March 2025. Along this journey, over 1,000 clergy, religious, and laity took part in 43 conversations to help shape this Pastoral Plan.

Titled “Communion in Mission”, the Plan is a call for unity across the Church to realise the mission Christ has entrusted to us. Written for clergy, religious, and laity alike, it proposes how we can be a Church that is vibrant, evangelising, and missionary.

At the heart of the Plan are 5 pastoral priorities, which provide a common framework for pastoral action across all levels of the Church.

8 September was chosen to coincide with the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the first missionary of the Church. May we follow her example of faith and discipleship in proclaiming Christ’s Gospel, so that all may “have life, and have it to the full.” (John 10:10)
