It is very scary to cover this beautiful song by Tom Waits.. This is a raw first take, in his honor. When I heard the song for the first time I cried in my room at the age of 16!

“Take It With Me” is one of the most beautiful stories and pictures of love ever written. And Waits storytelling is to die for. This song touches my heart in a special way, every time. It’s like this song explains some of the melancholy in me that I can’t explain myself. And I’ve nearly been in love or lived as long, but the soul in his lyrics touches my old soul hiding inside my younger body.
