Philadelphia Metalcore outfit Obsolescence was formed in January 2020 by Ben Mascioli (rhythm guitar, lead vocals), Ryan Howie (lead guitar), Damien Pace (bass, vocals) and Bobby Jeffers (drums). Their unique take on heavy music combines the groove, technicality and ferocity of bands like Knocked Loose, System of a Down, Deftones, and Whitechapel with the melodic tendencies of bands like Avenged Sevenfold, Linkin Park and Wage War. Their debut release, Ways to End it All, Vol I, is slated for release on November 5, 2021.
