On our way to Nassau, we accidentally snorkeled in waters known for sharks—a heart-pounding reminder that the ocean always keeps you humble. After that adrenaline rush, friends joined us aboard for a couple of days, and we showed them what life on a sailboat in the Bahamas is really like: crystal-clear snorkeling, good laughs, and unforgettable memories on the water.

We also finally stepped off the boat for some much-needed time on land, diving into Nassau’s nightlife and soaking up the energy of the island. From late nights to deep conversations, it was the perfect reset. Eventually, it was time to say goodbye to our guests and ease back into our own rhythm, ending the chapter with a quiet, peaceful night just the three of us.

We’re a father, son, and brother living full-time aboard a 45ft sailboat, sailing the Bahamas in search of freedom, healing, and a slower life at sea. No highlight reel — just honest sailing and the reality that comes with it.
