Cyclone Ditwa Forming in Bay of Bengal | Heavy Rain Alert for Tamil Nadu & South India

Описание: A deep depression has formed over the Southwest Bay of Bengal near the Sri Lanka coast, which is likely to intensify into Cyclone ‘Ditwa’. As per IMD, heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected over most parts of Tamil Nadu till 30th. Rayalaseema may experience extremely heavy rain as well. Andhra Pradesh and Kerala will also face its impact.

However, Odisha will remain mostly safe, with only light to moderate rain expected in some parts of South Odisha.

Another system, Cyclone ‘Senyar’, is also expected to influence the weather, bringing more heavy rain and strong winds over Tamil Nadu.
