The Delhi Court makes a landmark judgement today by deciding to acquit journalist Priya Ramani in the MJ Akbar criminal defamation case. The court throught this decision has also stated with reasons that Priya Ramani has the right to raise her voice on any platform and so has does other women, even decades after a harassment incident. Priya Ramani thanks everyone who has supported her and the court for this verdict. Rebecca John her lawyer says this was the most important case of her career and she also adds that when one is forced to fight power the only thing that's on one's side is the truth. This has served as a huge landmark for all the women who have and still face similar grievances.
