► The Met Office has extended its extreme heat warning by a day, with the heatwave expected to peak around Monday. Downing Street says "significant work" is being done to help the most vulnerable, with the NHS and local councils all involved.

It's even reported that officials are planning the first ever national heatwave emergency. Meanwhile some MPs want there to be new laws to stop people from having to work in extreme heat.
