ULTRAKILL P-2 P-Rank (Brutal)

Описание: I've been doing attempts at brutal P-2 on and off for a while now. I think after the revamp update I would usually try it for a little bit every few weeks or so. I was making slow progress but ultimately the P-rank felt so out of reach. Few weeks ago I had one attempt with only one restart, which made me believe that I could actually do this with enough practice and with the Fraud hype reaching higher and higher levels, I felt like I needed to get this done before the next update.

Last couple of weeks I put it on a lot of attempts, and I finally managed to do it.

This is hands down one of the hardest things I've done in any game ever. I've had the gauntlet more or less figured out for a long time, but even then I've had to refine my strategies more and more to improve on consistency. Too many dumb deaths and thrown runs, when I could have played it safe. In the end I think my consistency to reach Sisyphus was around a 50/50. The second wave of the final arena was the most problematic part, with the four sentries. In this run I got a bit lucky when the overheat saw just happened to kill one of them when the magnet expired.

Despite that, I had a lot of runs reach Sisyphus in total. Unfortunately for me, he is just absolutely unfair on brutal. He took me a very long time to figure out, especially his second phase. I just simply couldn't stay alive for long enough. I would get consecutive hits from his harder to avoid attacks, lose style, and then build up hard damage so that I could never heal back up to full. After taking a while to learn his patterns and easier parries, I got somewhat consistent in finishing him in about 1-3 tries, but his second phase still felt like a total cointoss every time. Either I got lucky with his attacks so that he would consistently give me easy parries with even intervals, or not, which meant I would die quickly. He's just too fast and I couldn't consistently hit the screwdriver for healing either. I found that the sawed-on shotgun (which I don't normally have equipped at all) is perhaps an even better tool at reliably healing in this fight, but it only helps if your max health is not low to begin with.

I definitely panicked at the end there and honestly I'm still kind of shocked I managed to clutch it out at the end there. Now I have every level P-ranked, Encores included!
