This video introduces and describes the Twelve Earthly Branches. These dynamic qi-expressions are imaged as the Twelve Zodiac Animals. These are essential to understand when looking at classical Chinese almanac-astrology and other arts. See also our videos on the Ten Heavenly Stems and the 60-part Sexegenary Cycle. These videos are primarily here to introduce practicing members of our Wuweidao Cultivation Group to this aspect of Chinese philosophy, but we're also sharing this publicly for general interest.
