The Use of PET-CT in the Assessment of Patients with Rectal Cancer is very well described in the first part with actual cases. Though NCCN or the national comprehensive cancer network does not recommend a PET scan, as pointed out in the talk, it is definitely used in practical scenarios. The video will clearly highlight when and when not to use pet-ct in metastatic colorectal cancer management.

The second part of the video is a summary of the upcoming advances in the fascinating field of nuclear medicine and covers the topics such as functioning liver remnant assessment using mebrofenin, radiotherapy planning as well as prediction of future liver augmentation using portal vein embolization by hepatobiliary scintigraphy.
