Описание: GEA Conductive Cooling has been awarded with the DLG innovation silver medal and the “novelty of the year” by “Deutscher Landwirtschaftsverlag” (German publishing house). A cooling system exchanges heat and cold between a warm and a cool surface. GEA conductive cooling utilises this principle for an innovative concept for animal comfort in the cows' resting area. Heat exchangers with a connected water system are arranged under the bedding areas in free stall barns. With the help of the system, the udder and underside of the stomach of the cow act as a radiators for the constant cooling of the blood as it circulates through the body. In short: GEA conductive cooling independently and effectively cools the cows in the place where they spend the most time – the resting area. This reduces heat stress in hot and humid climates significantly, which in turn increases animal comfort and animal health. In comparison with standard cooling methods, such as fans and soaker lanes, GEA conductive cooling has an energy savings potential of up to 75 per cent.
