2009 Hyundai Veracruz Windshield Wiper Motor Removal and Repair

Описание: This video shows removal, repair and re-installation of 2009 Hyundai Veracruz Windshield Wiper Motor Assembly. I was driving one rainy day, when turning ON the wiper, it stopped in the middle. I needed to flick the wiper switch over for it to go back to its normal position. No choice but did it many times over to engage the wiper during the rain while driving.

After checking the wiper assembly, I noticed that the driver side wiper arm post is stuck (hardly turn). I used a torch to heat the bushing and vise grip to release the wiper arm post from being stuck. After, cleaning the busing and posts well (using file and emery cloth removing the rusts), I lubricated all wiper assembly linkages connection. Good, the problem was fixed early and before the wiper motor burned out. Hyundai wiper motor seems solid since it was still working fine despite turning ON the wiper in that stuck condition many times.

Reminder, after removing the wiper assembly from its mount, check all the mechanical linkages are moving freely. Once verified, then check the motor by reconnecting it to the electrical wiring harness and turning on the wiper switch. From there you will know if the wiper motor is good or bad.
