Now that you’ve had time to explore the Sista System technique and make your size ring we would like you to start to think about the scalp and sectioning and get a feel for things to come. sectioning and perfection.

Over the next several weeks you will be practicing the process, with the synthetics hair, I would like you to maintain your practice each night, with at least three dreads, and once you are able to do this with ease, I would like you to up this to five dreads each night. Remember all these dreads you are making, can be sold, either in your shop, or to other lokkticians needing extensions. The more you practice the more you achieve. the quicker you get, the faster you are able to start maintaining dreads on a client.

Good foundations mean great dreads!

Sectioning is of the utmost importance in the Sista System. Great sectioning means great dreads. There are two factors that make up sectioning – base size and section design. It is imperative that you understand both these processes so you can explain to your client why a triangle is a better option then a square. Once you understand this process, your dread sectioning will produce the correct size dread requested by the client and allow for a cylindrical dreadlock.
