Elevating audio-only podcast clips with engaging visuals

Описание: Video is the first thing that typically comes to mind when I think of B-roll. But when I pay attention to shows, documentaries, and videos I enjoy, there's something that really levels up the visuals.

💡 It's PICTURES.

📝 A quick way that I like to animate these pictures is by adding keyframes for a Zoom-in or Zoom-out effect targeting the focus of the image.

📝 Adding text animations on areas of the image that don't dilute the focal point

📝 Sometimes a simple addition of a transparent black/white glitching animation is enough to disrupt the pattern.

Still images can work too. But when using them to spice up the B-roll for a podcast, often just one of the above can make it seem more 'video-like' without even realizing it as a viewer. My favorite is the Zoom-in and Zoom-out keyframes.

✅ Always have headshots of yourself on hand. Because let's say I go on a podcast that is audio-only. They make clips by adding a waveform to my headshot for example.

It helps a ton to have high quality options for them to pick from. So book a session with a photographer to get photos that can be used for:
