Scratch Building a Train Station in N Scale - Part 1

Описание: The historic Erie Railroad passenger station in Waldwick, NJ is an enduring reminder of the Age of Rail and a unique remaining vestige of Queen Anne styling.

The station was always in the background in my youth, and along with the nearby and equally historic interlocking tower, I think it will serve as a great addition to Concordia, my growing N scale layout inspired by the model railroad classic book, HO Railroad That Grows.

In this first part of the scratch build series, I give some historical context to the station, the interlocking tower, and Waldwick in general, then show the first stages of the build using the free online software program Inkscape.
