It was made public knowledge in late October 2013 that Fernando Ricksen was suffering from a version of MND, which is as of now, an incurable disease.
Fernando was a fighter as a player, and we urge Fernando now to fight this bastard of an illness. There WILL be that 1st person to beat it, it CAN be you.
