प्रमोद महाजन की हत्या के पीछे का था सच्चा कारण — प्रवीण महाजन ने किया खुलासा।
प्रवीण, प्रमोद को ब्लैकमेल कर रहा था। जिस व्यक्ति के नाम पर वह ब्लैकमेल कर रहा था, वह आज भी ज़िंदा है, इसलिए उसका नाम नहीं लूंगा। लेकिन यह पूरी घटना सिर्फ पैसों के लिए हुई —प्रमोद महाजन की हत्या केवल पैसों की लालच में की गई।

गोपीनाथ मुंडे के वरली स्थित मंत्री बंगल्यावर (बंगले पर) जब प्रवीण महाजन अतिथि बनकर गए, तब उन्हें गोपीनाथ मुंडे इतने अच्छे क्यों लगे?
कुछ न करके भी सुख का आदी बन चुका आदमी — यानी प्रवीण महाजन।
उसका एकमात्र उद्देश्य था प्रमोद महाजन को ब्लैकमेल करना और उन्हें परेशान करना।
मैं यह नहीं कह रहा कि प्रमोद महाजन निर्दोष थे,
लेकिन किसी को यह अधिकार किसने दिया कि वह किसी पर गोली चला दे?
सिर्फ पैसों के लिए ब्लैकमेल करना — और अंत में उसी कारण गोली चलाना...
ठाणे में कुछ लोग हैं, उनसे पूछिए, कुछ लोग आज भी ज़िंदा हैं।
