Walk through video of my Kayak with BlueRobotics T200 thrusters. The T200 brushless motors put out about 8 pounds of thrust at 12 volts. The motors are mounted to curved metal tubes which pivot sideways into the water. An Invacare wheel-chair joystick allows one handed operation in a skid steer type of setup. An Arudino reads the joystick left/right and up/down signal. The readings are mixed and RC style pules are sent to each ESC (electronic speed control).
The system is powered by 2 27 amp/hour lead acid batteries wired in parallel.
