Storm Chandra continues to move north and brings a band of heavy rain, this lingering across northeast England and Scotland with some snow expected over higher ground. Winds will remain strongest across western Scotland, Northern Ireland, and southwest England. Various warnings are in force through the afternoon for wind, snow and rain. - This is the Met Office UK weather forecast for the afternoon of 27/01/2026.
