Satellite images are giving us a better look at some of the damage in Iran, including the residence of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who was killed in the airstrikes.
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said Monday there were no "boots on the ground" in Iran, but wouldn't elaborate on "what we will or will not do."
President Trump has returned to the nation’s capital after a weekend at his Mar-a-Lago estate. The president has not yet publicly addressed the operation. So far, he has only talked about it in posts and video messages on social media. He is hosting a Medal of Honor ceremony at the White House at 11 a.m. ET. and could deliver some remarks then.
The Associated Press reported that at least 555 people have been killed in Iran so far by the U.S.-Israeli campaign. Four American service members had died, according to the U.S. Central Command, and Trump predicted over the weekend there would be more U.S. casualties.
