Our Makaton videos are back for the 2025/26 academic year! STA Year 13 students are helping to continue this wonderful initiative to teach the STA community Makaton through engaging videos.
Makaton is a communication programme that uses symbols, signs, and speech to help people communicate more effectively. It supports essential skills like comprehension and expression, making it easier for those with limited or unclear speech to connect with others. By combining signs with speech, Makaton opens up new ways for individuals to engage with the world around them.
