Flight Review:
Switching from the Turnigy G60 to the Dualsky motor was straightforward, though it is clear the setup would benefit from a slightly larger prop, likely around 14 inches. Even on the 13x8.5, the power was smooth and predictable. There is also room to go to 6S in the future, but for now the setup proved completely usable and reliable.

Takeoff from the grass was very scale, with the Cub lifting gently and naturally into the air. There was wind coming from the east, so I kept the climb shallow and controlled. I gave myself extra space while another aircraft prepared to land, climbing higher and keeping the flight safe and well separated.

The landing approach from the west required care due to the narrow strip and fence near the threshold. Keeping some throttle on was essential to maintain control and clear the obstacles safely. I completed a successful touch and go first, confirming the approach and control response before setting up again.

On the full stop landing, I focused on holding the tail up and flying it onto the ground properly. The large horizontal stabilizer makes this easier, and the Cub remained stable and predictable throughout the rollout. It was a smooth and controlled finish, reinforcing the Cub’s excellent scale handling and forgiving nature.
