To automatically fit the contents of a cell in an Excel workbook or worksheet, you can use the "AutoFit" feature. This will adjust the width of the cell to fit the contents inside it.

To use AutoFit in Excel:

Select the column or row that you want to AutoFit. You can do this by clicking on the column or row heading (the letter or number that appears at the top or left of the column or row).

Click on the "Home" tab in the Excel ribbon.

Click on the "Format" dropdown in the "Cells" section.

Select "AutoFit Column Width" or "AutoFit Row Height" depending on which one you want to adjust.

Alternatively, you can double-click on the right edge of a column heading or the bottom edge of a row heading to automatically adjust the column width or row height to fit the contents.

You can also use the "AutoFit" feature for multiple columns or rows at once by selecting them all before clicking on the "AutoFit Column Width" or "AutoFit Row Height" option.
