Описание: This was a difficult situation with no real immediate chance of drilling in the foreseeable future and as May was just around the corner and seed was in the shed, it was decided to go, drilling straight through a few wet spots caused by an unseasonably high water table after 100mm of rain in April after a very wet winter and spring. This field is adjacent to the River Rye, having been the river bed until the river was straightened back in the 1950's, it was under water for 7 weeks in Feb and March. We are all amazed by the results, we don't advocate drilling in these circumstances but it shows what is possible with the Maag SSp drill, which operated with no blocking of the disc coulters or press wheels and only 4 blocked pipes in the very wettest (standing water) part of the field.
