We picked a new queer MG fantasy to read to my friend & her kids.

Описание: I sent my friend Hilary a list of some queer middle grade books that we could read next since we are almost at the end of the second Sir Callie book by Esme Symes-Smith which we are all loving and don't want to end. The next book we're going to read together is The Other Woods by Justine Pucella Winans and I'm excited to read it with them. But there are so few queer middle grade books, especially fantasy and especially that have trans, non-binary, lesbian, or pansexual or bisexual characters in them. We need more queer middle grade and young adult books! I will keep writing my queer YA books but they have more personal trauma in them than the parents want the kids to know at this point.
