A phased commercial redevelopment is being reviewed along Ashland Street, and it’s important to understand what actually happened at the meeting. This proposal would replace two older buildings with new two story office buildings, built in stages so the site can stay partially active during construction.
The Planning Commission didn’t approve or deny the project. The hearing was continued because a required tree removal permit wasn’t included in the original public notice. That means the project will come back for review on January 13, 2026, not because of design issues, but due to a notice correction.
