Описание: Decommissioned in March 2020 after nearly 50 years of operation, Fiddler's Ferry was a coal-fired power station situated on the north bank of the River Mersey near Warrington, Cheshire, England. Construction began in 1964, and the station became fully operational by 1973. Its constant need for coal generated a significant amount of rail traffic, much of it handled by Class 20 locomotives, along with other types. Featured here is a small selection of scenes from the early 1990s, when the Class 20s were still a common and active presence on the network.
