Virtual model tour of the proposed structural design for a residential condo addition. The existing building is a single story 3 wythe brick wall structure. The proposed design pursues Micropile foundations with pier pile caps supporting the new interior structural columns, which are offset from the existing perimeter walls.
At Level 02, the structural girders fly out to host outboard structural columns that return the structural span to the full width of the building.
