Jennifer and I took our kids on an Alaska cruise in September 2022. After we sent the kids home, we stayed in Anchorage to take a Rust's Flying Service float plane to Redoubt Lodge on Crescent lake. This is within the 4 million acre National Park called Lake Clark. All four species of salmon spawn through this river / lake system, therefore the Brown bears feed heavily at the lake. We saw 15 bear this day. It was by far one of the highlights of my time in the wild.
