Today we take you for a tour along the 8.5 miles of the Regents Canal in London. Completed in 1820 and named after the Prince Regent, later George IV, Regent’s Canal and runs between Little Venice, near Paddington down to the River Thames at Limehouse basin in the Docklands.
We'll start our walk in the Limehouse Basin where we'll head north alongside Mile End Park and up to the City Road Basin. From there we take a slight divert over the Islington tunnel until we reach the canal again near Granery Square. Not long after we hit the vibrant Camden Locks which then leads us to Regents Park, home to London Zoo. One more tunnel divert later and well finally reach the end of our walk at Little Venice.
