It is possible to have a more distorted vision with irregular distortions that can be caused from irregular astigmatism. Irregular corneal shapes are the main cause. Many different eye conditions and diseases can cause irregular astigmatism such as: keratoconus, pellucid marginal degeneration, corneal scaring, and more.
