Massdrop HD6XX (Sennheiser HD650) UNBOXING & Review!!

Описание: This is a bit of a different video, but I finally caved into the countless Massdrop ads, and got myself a pair of the Sennheiser HD6XX open back headphones. I got them for about 200$ but I think I have seen deals ranging from 180-220$ depending on how luck you are when you buy them.
These are currently the most expensive headphones I own, and I got them to fulfill this odd desire to have my "beats equivalent" (in terms of price) after seeing so many kids walking around with their over priced bass boosters throughout high school and college. I've always clowned on the price:performance ratio of Dre's Beats, and boasted the fact that Sennheisers for 1/3 - 1/2 of the price could far outperform any beats by dre, or similarly designed headphones. But I've always wondered what I could get in terms of performance, if I spent the money these kids (or their parents) were spending on Beats, on some real headphones.
In this video I compare my overall first impression of these 6xx headphones, to my most used Sennheiser models, the HD598, and HD598c headphones (for about 150$ and 120$ respectively, depending on when you buy them), and how they hold up in terms of build quality/comfort.
I don't go into sound quality, because I just opened them, and it's pretty subjective since you can't really accurately depict the quality of headphones, or really any speaker through a recording. I can say however that they are a major improvement in all fields.
Soundstage is better, frequency range is better, bass response is buttery smooth, and everything is clearer than any headphones I've used thus far.
