La cinematografia di alto livello è sempre un connubio ben riuscito di sceneggiatura, regia, fotografia, interpretazioni, colonna sonora, costumi…
Nei film è l’Arte Fotografica che decide come tu vedrai una scena vista o pensata da altri, stabilisce come inquadrare, come illuminare la scena, che obiettivi usare…
Decide come mostrare la scena e, di conseguenza, quali emozioni trasmettere.
È pressoché impossibile, quindi, che una ripresa amatoriale, semplice testimonianza di un evento, possa riportare tutte le emozioni provate da chi ha assistito di persona all’evento.
Basti pensare a un bel tramonto che abbiamo cercato di immortalare con uno scatto della nostra fotocamera amatoriale: resterà emozionante solo per noi che l’abbiamo vissuto; tutti gli altri, che del tramonto vedranno solo l’immagine, non potranno mai essere colpiti dalle stesse emozioni.
Un filmato amatoriale, magari anche datato, come quelli presenti in questa playlist, può comunque regalare grandi emozioni a chi, seppur non presente, conoscendone il valore storico, sa coglierne il senso, farsi coinvolgere e stupire.
È cosa tutt’altro che facile, così come non è facile sentire il profumo di un fiore attraverso la sua sola immagine, ma possibile se assieme agli occhi si usano testa e cuore.

High-level cinematography is always a successful combination of script, direction, photography, interpretations, soundtrack, costumes...
In the movies, Photographic Art decides how you will see a scene envisioned and thought of by others. It selects how to frame, how to illuminate the scene, which lenses to use...
It establishes how to exhibit the scene and, consequently, which emotions to elicit.
It is therefore almost impossible that an amateur shoot, a simple testimony of an event, can bring back all the emotions felt by those who witnessed the event in person.
Just think of a beautiful sunset that we tried to capture with a shot of our amateur camera: it will remain exciting only for us who have experienced it; all the others, who will only see the image of the sunset, will never be affected by the same emotions.
An amateur movie, perhaps even dated, like those present in this playlist, can still give great emotions to those who, even if not present, know its historical value, know how to grasp its meaning, get involved, and be amazed.
It is anything but easy, just as it is not easy to smell the scent of a flower through its image alone, but it is possible if we use, together with our eyes, our mind, and heart.
