With a packed house at Doak Campbell Stadium including several recruits in attendance FSU took Notre Dame to overtime and provided a reason to believe things could be turning a corner in Tallahassee. In Atlanta, Miami got a shot at a team that has proven to be their biggest recruiting competition in south Florida but ultimately couldn't keep up with Alabama.
