Описание: June 6th, nineteen forty-four. The Normandy coast of France. At exactly 7:35 in the morning, 21,400 Canadian soldiers faced a stretch of beach that would either make them heroes or statistics. The water was cold and gray. The sound of explosions rolled across the waves like thunder that would not stop. Above them, German machine guns sat in concrete bunkers, waiting. Below them, mines hidden in the sand waited too. This beach had a name. Juno Beach. And right now, 14,000 German defenders were pointing their weapons directly at the Canadians coming ashore.
