The site of Persepolis, which is one of the most famous places in Fars province and is located near Maroodasht in Shiraz, shows the architectural splendor of the palace of the kings in the ancient Iranian era. At the height of their power, the Achaemenid kings built their stone palaces in the heart of the mountain and near the city of Shiraz.
Persepolis is known in the world as Persepolis, which is the Greek name. The columns, capitals, inscriptions, reliefs, palaces, and gates left in the grounds of Persepolis are among the most famous works of civilization in the world. The site of Persepolis, which is also known as "Land of Parse", atacts many tourists from all over the world to Shiraz throughout the year.

The construction of Takht Jamshid, one of the oldest cities in Iran, was started by Dariush Achaemenashi about 25 centuries ago at the foothills of Rahmat Mountains. Countless architects and artists participated in the construction of Persepolis, and these huge buildings were built by male and female workers. But what adds to the value of Persepolis in history is the way the Achaemenid kings treated the workers, who in ancient Iran paid them appropriate salaries and benefits for their hard work.
Each of the existing palaces in Persepolis was built during the time of one of the Achaemenid kings. The splendor and beauty of Persepolis still amaze designers and engineers today. To the extent that they don't consider it easy to build such a huge collection in the present time and despite the wide possibilities.
