Star Wars has given us incredible stories through both animation and live-action… but let’s be honest—animated shows like The Clone Wars, Rebels, and The Bad Batch blow most live-action series out of the water. In this video, I’m breaking down why animation does Star Wars better, from deeper character development to more respectful storytelling.

👎 Live-action Star Wars shows have struggled with inconsistent writing, weak character arcs, and rushed plots. While The Mandalorian started strong, later seasons lost focus. The Book of Boba Fett sidelined its own main character, and Obi-Wan Kenobi had incredible potential but fell short with its execution.

🔥 Meanwhile, animated Star Wars treats its characters and lore with respect. The Clone Wars gave us the heartbreaking arcs of the clones, Rebels expanded on Mandalorian culture, and The Bad Batch explored the fallout of Order 66 in ways live-action has never dared. Even the fights in animation—like Ahsoka vs. Maul—are better choreographed than most live-action duels!
