Step inside the kitchen of a 1960s Chinese restaurant! Matching the recipe booklet of the same name, a film that has been totally forgotten to time.
Saw this film for sale recently and had to purchase it as it just seemed like a kind of odd subject, and I'd probably never see it again. Date code on the film is 1964, but the film could date to 62 or 63. Only found a single reference to it online, in a 1970 archive document. If you recognize any of the actors, leave a comment!
Light adjustments made to the image, slight deflicker and stabilization to smooth out jitters.
Audio processed with compressor, eq, noise reduction; the microphones used in their recording peaked easily. In retrospect I should've scanned with more light, shadow was lost in details due to that in concert with the nature of the 7387 reversal film stock.
(labeled as "Eastman Rev II Color Safety Film", essentially a Kodachrome II optimized for printing)
