Picked up this little 5×10 storage unit for just $40 — total last-minute decision. It was five minutes from the house, cheap, and honestly we weren’t even planning on buying anything today… but here we are.
It’s raining, I’m loading everything up, and most of the unit is just random leftovers: a cedar chest that turned out to be junk, a couple twin mattresses and bed rails, some boxes, kid’s fishing poles, and even one of those rollator walkers. Nothing fancy — just a real-life look at what these small “gamble units” are actually like.
But the best part?
A guy rolls up at the end asking where I got my trailer because he’s out here buying units and hauling everything to the dump in something the size of a Kia Soul. We had a good laugh about it.
