How to Bead Tubular Herringbone Stitch with Two Colors Tutorial

In today's tutorial I will show you how to create a simple seed bead rope while learning the tubular herringbone beading stitch, using two different colors. I will create a separate video to teach the tubular herringbone technique in more than two colors, in the future. Since this is a technique video, we will not be creating a finished piece this time. Instead, I will show you how to begin beading tubular herringbone, how to tie off, and add new thread, and we will discuss some options for ending the rope.

This bead weaving basic technique has many off-shoots, including twisted tubular herringbone, which I will share soon, in a separate video. It's also possible to complete this design using a single color, or create striped patterns, and more. Have fun exploring this versatile bead weaving stitch!
