Have you ever asked yourself, where’s my refund? Did I make my estimated tax payments? What did I pay in tax last year? You can answer all these and more by setting up an online account with the IRS.
Setting up an online account with the IRS will grant you access to Tax records, payment plan options, Copies of IRS notices, stimulus payments, tax history, and payment history.

In order to create an IRS account you will need the following: an email address, your social security number, your tax filing status from the most recent tax return, a cell phone so you can receive the account activation code, and details of one financial account linked to your social security number such as a bank or mortgage statement. The final step will be to take a real time photo to prove your identity, it is best to use a computer with a webcam to complete the application as opposed to your cell phone.
