In this tutorial you will learn how to stack, combine, and edit Pleiades astrophotos into a work of art! I shot a total of 66 x 3 minute photos with a Spencer's Camera Full Spectrum Canon EOS R at ISO 800.

For those of you looking to maximize your astrophotography from light polluted skies then I hope this image processing tutorial can provide you with a bit of help. I used PixInsight and Photoshop as the main software choices during the tutorial. You might also find the freeware Deepsky Stacker valuable for your work, although I find PixInsight to be the most powerful software available for astro image processing.

The amazing thing about astrophotography is that you can still create beautiful photos from light polluted skies. I captured this data from only handful of miles outside Pittsburgh, PA. While the human eye might not be able to see many faint deep sky objects from the suburbs, remember that using a camera opens up a new world of possibilities.
