This is part 1 of a 2 part video. In this part I will introduce the Quadrilateral family tree, and prove six basic properties of a parallelogram. In part 2 I expand the tree to included the properties of a rectangle and rhombus (along with appropriate proof of those properties) and do some numerical examples.
