This historic gem, nestled at the base of the stunning Poisoned Glen and overlooked by Mount Errigal, is a must-see for history and architecture lovers alike. Built in 1853 as a memorial by Jane Russell Smith for her husband James Russell, this Church of Ireland building is a masterpiece of white marble and blue quartzite construction. 🏰✨

Although now in ruins, the church still holds onto its timeless charm with remnants of its original plaster and beautifully preserved red brick window splays. The grounds also feature a poignant reminder of its history. The grave of Richard Lewis Crankshaw, a former owner of the Dunlewey Estate.

Fun fact: The church served as a magical backdrop for Enya's 1988 music video, Na Laetha Geal M'óige! 🎶
