When you live alone, there are situations where having an extra set of eyes or hands would be the smart move — but life doesn’t always give you that option.

In this video, I deal with storm damage on my roof and talk about the real risks of self-reliance, why thinking clearly matters more than bravado, and how living alone forces you to balance safety with necessity.

This isn’t about doing reckless things.
It’s about understanding risk, slowing down, and making the best decision you can with what you have.
