In this third part of the KHI C151 Farewell Commemorative Ride, the special charter train makes its way across the Toa Payoh crossover, a key feature of the North-South Line’s early operations.
This marks another symbolic moment in the farewell journey of Singapore’s very first MRT trains. Rarely we seen a ride that use this crossover but since this is a skip stop service, it will go over back as it will withdraw at NS16 Ang Mo Kio Platform C and D.
On 28 September 2025, SMRT operated set 089/090 as the official farewell charter train, giving railfans one final opportunity to ride across the historic alignments that have carried generations of commuters since 1987.
