I discuss the personality traits and worldview of misanthropes, why these antisocial beliefs are developed, and solutions towards becoming more optimistic. I also discuss my love/hate relationship with Charles Bukowski and his writing, and how his character ties in with each aspect of my video essay. Other examples I use to explain my thoughts are with incels, antinatalism/the antinatalist movement, ethical and moral/religious extremism, capitalism, and Nietzsche's "optimistic" nihilism.
