CNMES AUGUST 30TH 2025 FAMILY DAY
COMPETITION RULES FOR UNMANNED
TRACK RACER
1) The unmanned track racer must run on either our 5” or 7 1/4” track
over a measured distance to be determined on the day.
2) The fastest and furthest will be taken into consideration when
determining the winner.
3) The racer must not leave the track at any point.
4) The racer must not emit high temperature flames or any fumes, no
rocket or explosive power force to be used.
5) Any racer construction method may be used with points awarded for
ingenuity and simplicity.
6) There will be two classes, remote controlled and others.
7) It will be the best of three runs.
8) Other rules may be implemented up to and including the competition
day.
9) Entries will be subject to a pre-run scrutiny.
10) Three judges will be appointed on the day and their word will be final.
11) A mystery prize will be awarded on the day (don’t get too excited as
packet of chocolate Hobnobs has been mentioned!)
