Congress has brought a no-confidence motion against Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, accusing him of bias. A total of 118 MPs from the opposition alliance have signed the motion. No MPs from Trinamool Congress have signed it. According to news agency sources, the Speaker has decided not to attend Lok Sabha proceedings until the notice related to the no-confidence motion is resolved.
